When Śląsk was already running 3:0, our fans immediately remembered the recent game against Jagiellonia Białystok and the unfortunate 3:3 result. Luckily, Polish champions draw conclusions from that match. This time, they played smart in defense and continued to threaten the goal of Lech from counterattacks. In 80. min, Przemysław Kaźmierczak came up in the penalty area after a well prepared team action but he hit the goalpost. All in all, it was the best match of Śląsk in Poznań for over 20 years.
