A tie at the last moment

In the sunny Saturday afternoon we saw an exciting, but also frustrating encounter on Oporowska Stadium. Śląsk could've easily win if they had played more consequently and tactically in the penalty area.

In the first half Śląsk dominated the pitch, having had a lot of promising situations. However, they seemed to lack team spirit and tactical thinking to finish at least a couple of them with goals. Finally, in 42' one of Polonia's defenders - Łukasz Piątek performed an own goal after a strong pressing by Śląsk players.

The second half was much more interesting as we saw three goals. Unfortunately, two of them were scored by our opponent. Śląsk team was just a snatch from losing the game, but our players remained active until the end, and it paid back. In 90' Sebastian Mila passed the ball from the middle field to Przemysław Kaźmierczak who scored a beautiful lob hadder and managed to make the score even. You can see that goal here.
