And we have a winner!

We have been waiting a lot for this moment. Śląsk Wrocław is a team that has drawn the most in the current season, but yesterday we finally reached for our first away victory and three precious points that guarantee us play in Ekstraklasa next year.

Yesterday's match was extremely important for both teams. Śląsk was hungry for our first away victory and Odra had no choice but to win if they wanted to stay in the highest Polish League. Even though the game was more or less even for most of the time, in the end we occured to be more focused and efficient, closing the encounter with a crushing nockaut.

In the first half there were many situations in both penalty areas, but none of them was strong or precise enough to end up with a goal. It was the second half that will be remembered as we saw six goals overall and an exciting finish on our part.

It all started in 55' when Marcin Dymkowski, the opponent's defender, managed to confuse our goalkeeper and placed the ball in Śląsk's net. We didn't let Odra enjoy their prevalence too long as Sebastian Mila made the score even in 62' with a flat kick from the fringes of the penalty area. You can watch this goal here.

Nevertheless, Odra was leading again after 73' when Daniel Bueno happened to be in the right place at the right time and scored from a short distance over Kelemen's head. This time our response was even quicker and within three minutes the score was already 2:2 due to our most effective striker Vuk Sotirovic. From then on, Śląsk owned the game. Odra's players went for all marbles and forgot about defense. It was a mistake which Sotirovic and Mila took great advantage of, placing the ball again twice in the opponent's net in 84' and 87'. Vuk's goal can be found here. Odra was devastated.
