Buenos DIAZ in our Club

Cristian was introduced to the public at a press conference held by our Club's president, Mr. Piotr Wasniewski and our sports director Mr. Krzysztof Paluszek, who admitted having been through long and hard negotiations to contract the South-American striker. Diaz, on his part, said he had received other offers from Germany and Russia, but he was convinced coming to Poland would be the best choice for his personal and professional development.

Cristian is 23 years old, natural from Argentina, but for the past two years he was the leading striker in the Bolivian top football league. His strongest qualities are: good play with legs and precise finish in attack. In Śląsk he will play with number 21 and, instead of the surname, he wanted to put his daughter's name AZUL on the back of the jersey as it has always brought him luck.

Cristian and his new team collegues are on their way for the training camp in Germany where they will play four sparring games against: FK Teplice, Hallescher FC, Dynamo Drezno i Goerlitz. Of course, soon we will be providing you with more information on the training progress in Germany.
