Clinical Wisła defeat Śląsk

Śląsk Wrocław were defeated 0-3 by a clinical Wisła Kraków side on Friday night, despite having plenty of possession in the opposition half for the majority of the game. Clinical finishing from Wisła was the key factor on the night, as the home side took full advantage of their opportunities.
Wisła had much the better of the game in the first half an hour, and took the lead before half time when Łukasz Garguła's deflected shot found the net in the 36th minute.
Nevertheless, after the goal Śląsk got a grip of the game, maintained possession and started to mount a few attacks of their own.
Unfortunately WKS were then punished for not making the most of their possession in the 52nd minute, when Wisła added a second against the run of play. A clever lofted pass by Michał Chrapek found the feet of Wilde-Donald Guerrier, who broke through Śląsk's offside trap before rounding the goalkeeper. As the ball ran away from Guerrier, Rafał Boguski was then at hand to tap the ball over the line for the simplest of goals.
In a crushing blow for the traveling support, the game was put beyond doubt less than 60 seconds later when Wisła made it three. A punt by the goalkeeper and 4 touches were all that Wisła required to get from their own box into a goalscoring position, with Paweł Brożek breaking through the defence to score his team's 3rd of the night.
