Good game with a bad result

The match against GKS Bełchatów ended up with a goalless draw, even though both teams managed to play fast and ofensive football, having a number of good goal attempts. However, a big appraisal should be given to Śląsk defenders: Piotr Celeban and Mario Pawelec who saved a number of dangerously looking situations in our penalty area.

From the beginning it was obvious that Śląsk players were determined to win the match and erase memories of their previous, unsuccessful performances. Although it didn't happen, they managed to control the middle field during the first half, forcing Bełchatów to focus all their attention in the back.

In 67' we were given another opportunity to boost the result, when Jakub Tosik was shown the red card, however, Bełchatów proved to be a difficult opponent who fought till the last whistle while our stricker Vuk Sotirovic was out of luck and didn't manage to execute any of the goal situations he was given.

On Tuesday we're playing against Zagłębie Lubin, a team residing in the neighbouring town to Wrocław. It's a game of honour - count for no less than 3 points!
