Jagiellonia Białystok came from a goal behind to defeat Śląsk Wrocław on Saturday night.
Śląsk had the better of the game in the opening period of the match, and duly took the lead in the 26th minute. The goal came from a long-range Sylwester Patejuk strike, which wickedly deflected over the out-stretched goalkeeper's arms.

The home side were back in it within 5 minutes however, when the referee adjudged Rafał Grodzicki to have fouled Dani Quintana in the box, gifting Jagiellonia a penalty. The Spanish midfielder then stood up to take the spot kick and sent Marian Kelemen the wrong way to tie the game up at 1-1.

With the wind under their sails, Jagiellonia didn't take long to get their second goal. David Plizga's rasping shot from a tight angle In the 35th minute was too hot for Marian Kelemen to handle, and has to go down as one of the best goals in the Ekstraklasa this week.

In the second half Śląsk battled back, and they came close to getting back on level terms when Holota's shot was saved well by Jagellonia's Krzysztof Baran. The game was put beyond the visitors reach in the 76th minute however, when Quintana broke the offside trap to score his side's third goal of the night. The Spaniard was level when a superb through ball split the WKS defence, and he kept his cool to round Kelemen and pass the ball in to the net.
