Levy Vows To Improve Team

In an another tightly knit Ekstraklasa contest, Śląsk could have taken the lead in the first half when Marco Paixao created two opportunities for fellow forward Sylwester Patejuk. The former Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała man couldn't hit the back of the net however, and a well organised Piast defence stubbornly shut out Śląsk to gain a share a of the spoils.

Not content with Śląsk Wrocław's current position, head coach Stanislav Levy promised the team will do their all to get in the top 8 before the league splits next spring: "We are not satisfied with thirteenth position in the table and don't want to be there at the end of the year. We will fight to the last round of fixtures to be in the top eight. We have to work hard to make things better."
