Second win in a row
On Friday 7th December, Śląsk Wrocław played their last match in 2012 against Legia Warszawa. Despite the cold weather (-12ºC) the atmosphere on the stands occurred superhot.
In the first half, WKS presented good and brave football, but the result remained goalless. After half-time, the situation changed after a corner kick, performed by Sebastian Mila, flew over the penalty area straight to Tomasz Jodłowiec who scored with a beautiful header. After this goal, Śląsk Wrocław didn’t let Legia make it even, although a number of attempts in the last 20 min. Polish champions won over the current Ekstraklasa leader 1:0 at Stadium Wroclaw.
