Śląsk Wrocław and Widzew Łódź played out a rather hard fought 0-0 draw on Saturday, a result that leaves both teams stuck at the wrong end of the table.
Śląsk had more opportunities to break the deadlock than the homeside, but strikers Paixao and Patejuk were unable to convert the few chances they had at their disposal. The match was a tight, nervy affair and understandably so given both team's lowly position in the league. Dalibor Stevanović's thundering shot that struck the crossbar in the 1st half was the closest either team came to hitting the back of the net.
