Śląsk Wrocław came from behind to secure a hard fought win against friendly side Lechia Gdańsk in the PGE arena yesterday.
Lechia took the lead in 55th minute courtesy of a superb Piotr Grzelczak volley that gave Marian Kelemen next to no chance.
Śląsk fought their way back however, equalizing in the 64th minute when Adam Kokoszka knocked in a superb Grodzicki flick-on from a Cetnarski corner.
Wrocław then grabbed a crucial second in the 83rd minute to take the lead in the match for the 1st time. The goal came from yet another corner, with Rafał Grodzicki storming into the penalty area unmarked to power home a bullet header past Mateusz Bąk in the Lechia Goal.
In the closing moments Śląsk stayed resolute in defence and comfortably saw out the match to gain another three crucial Ekstraklasa points.
