Śląsk came back from Gdańsk upon the shield

Suprisingly, Śląsk was not an equal opponent to Lechia last Saturday. It was a poor game on our part. Lechia won 2:0 and they definitely deserved it.

No doubt Śląsk players presented weaker shape than in our previous encounters. The only positive aspect one could find is the hope that the match against Lechia will remain the weakest in the season.

Normally active and determined midfielder - Waldemar Sobota - practically didn't exist on the pitch this time. Same with Sebastian Mila who got us used to his technical and analitical abilities, but on Saturday it was difficult to see him play the ball. Therefore, Śląsk could work out just a few dangerous goal situations. The only ones we had were spoiled by our strikers: Vuk Sotirovic and Cristian Diaz.

In this situation, Lechia broke our defense many more times and kept attacking Marian Kelemen's goal. In each scoring action our goalkeeper had no chance to save the result. First, he was defeated by Piotr Wiśniewski in 40', and later by Paweł Buzała in 62'. Both goals were brave and precise, thus Lechia's fans could come back home proud of their team.

Śląsk players now have to focus on their next encounter against Lech Poznań and show us better play, which we know they're capable of. Let's hope they will use that opportunity to gain three points and get back in the game for the title.
