Śląsk is on fire !

On Friday Śląsk won against Lech Poznań first time in 14 years on our own ground.It was an incredible night at Oporowska Stadium with the stands full of cheerful and proud fans. And it was just an apertizer before the Polish Cup 1/16 Round against the 2nd League's leader - Okocimski Brzesko.

We were winning already in the 1st minute of the match as Dawid Mieczkowski - the goalkeaper of Okocimski Brzesko scored an own goal with a header. Despite the fortunate start, all the other goals were not "lucky" but well elaborated. Even the score performed by the oposite team in the second half.

All in all, it was an interesting encounter in which both teams were eager to win and you could see it on the pitch. We can't wait to find out who's going to be our opponent in the 1/8 Round of the Polish Cup. We'll know after the draw on 30th Sept.
