Slask Trash Podbeskidzie

2013-11-01 13:56:40
A second half flourish saw Śląsk Wrocław gain a much needed home victory against fellow strugglers Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała yesterday.
The goal flury started in the 53rd minute, when Plaku headed in a superbly hit cross from Brazilian left back Dudu.

Just ten minutes later Dudu turned provider again, this time setting up the club's top scorer, Marco Paixao. The Portuguese striker made no mistake with his chance and slammed the ball home after controlling it superbly with his chest.

Śląsk then put the game beyond any doubt just seconds later, with Paixao providing the assist via a cheeky back-heel. The pass put Patejuk clean through on goal, and the striker come winger placed the ball neatly inside the near post to finish the game as a contest.

Śląsk weren't finished scoring however, and Patejuk added a second to make it 4:0 after 73 minutes. Set up via a neat through ball from Mateusz Cetnarski, Patejuk nutmegged the goalkeeper to add some extra gloss to the scoreline and send the fans home in a buoyant mood.
