The losing series has been broken

2010-10-05 14:23:05
Great changes have been introduced in our Club after another unsatisfying result in the match against Korona Kielce. Up-to-date coach, Mr. Ryszard Tarasiewicz, was dismissed and a new but very experienced technician, Mr. Orest Lenczyk, and his assistant were engaged. Since the first day, they have introduced new practice schedule and technics that seem to bring quite good results as finally our team broke their 5-times-in-a-row losing series.

Śląsk Wrocław drew 0:0 against last season's runner-up Wisła Kraków. This match was not as passionate on our part as the previous ones, but is was much more efficient. Wisła couldn't get through our defense line, and thus there were few striking situations in the penalty area.

All in all, fans in Kraków might have been unhappy with their team's play. Śląsk presented a solid standing and firm tactics, due to which we resulted unbreakable. This tie was extremely important for the team spirit and self-confidence. We're hoping to show our supporters we can stand up to their expectations and fill them with pride and positive emotions.
