Two amazing draws for Śląsk
It is true that the first half of the game against Widzew Łódź was not of the top quality, and really nothing interesting happened; however it was caused by the respect both teams share for each other. They chose extremely defensive tactics which could have seemed a bit disappointing for the people gathered at the stadium. That's why after the break we saw a great turnover on the pitch. The game began to mix a coctail of dangerous scoring situations on both sides. It's true, however, that our guests were more determined and focused on winning against Śląsk in such a style as they did it a few months ago in Łódź.
Śląsk woke up later, when they were already losing 0:2. It was difficult to come back in the game, but the thought of losing for the fisrt time in over 6 months was unbearable. Mr. Lenczyk decided to put Łukasz Madej on the field, and it was the best decision he could've made at the moment. Madej firstly scored the contact goal in 84th minute, and then, already in the injury time, he was fauled in the penalty area, which was punished with an 11 meter kick for Wrocław. Sebastain Mila didn't fail to make the most of this opportunity, and set the final result at a high tie of 2:2.
All in all, it was the most stressful encounter one could've imagined, but with a happy ending that leaves us with great expactations for our next game against Korona Kielce this Sunday (17.04.) at 5:15 pm. Hope u'll enjoy our game!
