Two good games at the start of Spring Season
Our match against Cracovia, the team occupying the league’s lowest position, showed that Śląsk is in a quite good shape to compete with better clubs of greater attack potential. Certainly, this encounter should have been won, and only precision in the opponent’s penalty area was missing. On the whole, the game was pleasant to watch and enjoy, even though the result has left us a bit hungry before the trip to Białystok.
Therefore, if it was not for an arguable foul in 62’ which led to a successful penalty kick performed by Tomasz Frankowski, Jagiellonia Białystok, we would have been celebrating a sensational triumph against Ekstraklasa’s up-to-date runner-up. Nevertheless, it is worth watching here a beautiful goal in 38’ by a former FC Porto midfielder, Przemysław Kaźmierczak, whose brilliant play almost secured Slask’s first win in Spring. Jagiellonia should be happy they managed to even the score with our team, who played one of their best matches this season.
On Friday we are going to Warsaw to stand against Legia. Even though they are playing an extremely good football lately, Śląsk’s head coach, Mr. Orest Lenczyk declared: We do not hold a worse position against Legia. Many teams lose matches with them the moment they get on the bus to Warsaw. We won’t make the same mistake...
Hope you’ll enjoy our game on Fri at 8 p.m.! Go Śląsk!
